

《Nuclear Science and Techniques》:
Latest Impact Factor 3.8, Securely Ranked in Q1 Quartile
On June 18, 2025, Clarivate's latest Journal Citation Reports (JCR-2024) were released, unveiling the fresh 2024 JCR Impact Factors. The journal Nuclear Science and Techniques (NST), co-sponsored by the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Nuclear Society, achieved new highs in various citation metrics, solidly maintaining its position in the Q1 quartile for both the "Nuclear Science & Technology" primary category and "Nuclear Physics" category.
JCR data show that the total citations of NST in 2024 further increased by 26.8% on the basis of the 24.3% growth recorded in JCR-2023 whilst number of published articles maintained a 10% growth rate. Its latest Journal Impact Factor (JIF) reached 3.8, ranking 2nd out of 41 journals (2/41) in the "Nuclear Science & Technology" primary category and 5th out of 22 journals (5/22) in the "Nuclear Physics" category. The Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) stands at 1.55, ranking 1st out of 41 (1/41) in the "Nuclear Science & Technology" category and 2nd out of 22 (2/22) in the "Nuclear Physics" category.
