The CAS President’s International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI), is a specific funding program to attract talented foreigners to CAS for scientific exchanges and research cooperation. It is open to scientific research personnel from around the globe, of the following two types:
 

HOW TO APPLY:
-PIFI does not accept direct applications from foreign scientific research staff.
-Foreign applicants must find a CAS scientist as his or her host researcher, who would recommend him or her for PIFI application. 
-PIFI is open to applications all year round. You can log onto the website to provide your resume information and then follow the progress of your application.
-Applications should be reviewed at least 3-6 months after submission. Appraisal results are released in June, September and December of each year.
