Nuclear Science and Techniques in First region of the Journal Impact Factor Quartile

On June 28, 2023, Clarivate Analytics published its annual Journal Citation ReportsTM (JCR-2022), Nuclear Science and Techniques (NST) is placed into First region of the Journal Impact Factor (JIF) Quartile (Q1), and ranked 4^th among the 34 SCI-E journals in the JCR “nuclear science and technology” category. Its impact factor (IF) reached 2.8, the percentage of OA Gold articles was 5.5%, the Total Citations was 2,174, and the journal Citation Index (JCI) was 1.03.

NST is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal sponsored by the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Nuclear Society, and co-sponsored by the Shanghai Nuclear Society. In recent years, NST has been funded by the Action Plan for excellence of Chinese sci-tech journals.

As a monthly magazine, NST is devoted to nuclear physics; nuclear energy science and engineering; synchrotron radiation applications, beamline technology; accelerator, ray technology and applications; nuclear electronics and instrumentation; nuclear chemistry, radiochemistry, radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear medicine, and their interdisciplinary research. The editor-in-chief, Academician Ma Yugang and the editorial board are willing to serve the promotion and development of nuclear science and technology and its application.
